Herbalist-Acupuncturist Witchy Wu 巫: Drummer, Empath, Wearer of Many Hats, + Drinker of Tea.

Hello. How lovely to see you here. I’m a firm believer that the personal connection is as important as all other considerations when you’re choosing your practitioner, so you will find stuff about me as a person below. Then a bit lower down you’ll find all the professional info that tells you about my qualifications, etc.

Have a read and if any or all of that ‘clicks’ with you, great! I look forward to meeting you very soon.

The Person: I am currently balancing and going with the flow of many changes. After over twenty years living in Lincolnshire I have recently moved to Suffolk and, with the big move, the way I live and work is evolving.

I’m waking up in my Wise Woman years, reclaiming my witchyness, plus adapting to and thriving in my Second Spring. It’s all very exciting, even if it is a bit of a bumpy ride sometimes!

I am Mum to three grown-ups and live with Mr. B in our cosy cottage not far from Bury St Edmunds. We share our home with my beautiful ‘familiar’, Darcy Cat, and equally beautiful bouncy rescue springer spaniel, Lilly. You can follow some of our adventures over on Facebook and Instagram

The Practitioner: My adventures and clinical experiences in Traditional Chinese Medicine span just shy of twenty years with fifteen of them in my own practice, During that time I have helped many people of all ages with wide ranging health issues.

I have a Bachelors of Science Honours Degree in Acupuncture and a Post Graduate Diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine.

I am a fully participating member of the leading UK professional regulatory bodies for both traditional acupuncture (British Acupuncture Council) and Chinese herbal medicine (Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine).

I teach as a clinical supervisor on the BAAB accredited BSc(Hons) Acupuncture course in Lincoln and I provide locum treatments at a specialist fertility and IVF support clinic in Stamford.

I am constantly updating my knowledge through a programme of continuing professional development and have recently learned Chinese medicine 5 element drumming techniques. Using my lifelong empathic and intuitive Witchy Wu 巫 skills I have developed my holistic practice to include a range of treatments to complement acupuncture and medicinal herbs. Five Element Drumming and my “Wu Way Method” of energy medicine are such treatments that I’ve added to my offerings and I particularly love the way these can be incorporated at events such as my seasonal Sister Circles.

Having started my working life in the research oriented world of Libraries & Information, I view my practice as a near perfect balance of intuitive flow with an eye for the finer details.

So that’s me – I can’t wait to find out about You. When you’re ready to take the next step click here and I’ll see you soon.

With very best wishes, Sandra.
